How to Break Through Tech Challenges

Your business in drowning in CMOPLXETIY!

More accurately, you may have found your business trapped in tech-hell. This is the project that never ends, the thing that never quite works the way that you want it to, or the computer guys talking in tech-gibberish across from you.

If this sounds like your company, let's continue.

Technology automates a ton of our processes and procedures which can free us up from the tedious work. The problem is we don't consciously realize just how complex our workflows are. If you've ever tried to automate a workflow through programming you've probably found yourself going back to the developers a hundred times trying to get it right. But that's not the problem.

The problem is focus. Complex problems require a high-level of consistent communication, testing and development. If I could emphasize anything, a lack of consistent communication on a complex project will exponentially increase the time it takes to complete and the problems that result.

Developing lead nurturing programs is a
great example of a short-time, complex problem.
Set aside a specific time to tackle it.
Here are some key strategies for breaking through your Tech Challenges:

  1. If the problem can be resolved in a short time, but is very complex, set aside a day or two to complete it.
  2. If the problem is a very large challenge, identify all the key people and and make it clear that the project is a priority until it is completed.
  3. Leadership's focus is critical. The team will focus on what the leaders focus on. Ask yourself, are what you ask for and what you focus on congruent?
Remember that automating processes can have a huge return on accuracy and efficiency. Be focused and be relentless until it's completed.

See you online,

Kevin
